The Look of Love is the fourth solo album by Trijntje Oosterhuis, released on November 20, 2006. The album was released in Japan on January 17, 2007 under the artist name Traincha with a bonus song "Anyone Who Had a Heart (live)". The album consists of Burt Bacharach covers and was recorded with the Metropole Orchestra. The Metropole Orchestra was arranged by Vince Mendoza, who gained notoriety for arranging the Grammy winning album Both Sides Now by Joni Mitchell. The album was mixed by Al Schmitt.

As a daughter of the well-known writer and pastor Huub Oosterhuis was a career as a singer in a pop group does for Trijntje Oosterhuis. Production contributions come from the likes of John Ewbank (Marco Borsato), James Hallawell and Tjeerd Oosterhuis. Especially in the contributions of the first two is the perfectly polished sound of the first plates of Total Touch released, to make way for a slightly firmer and more organic sound, which closely at the developments in the nu-soul is listened to.
