Trespass biography TRESPASS were a German band that existed between 1984 and 1992. The group survived primarily through local live appearances, and released only a single album ("The FInal Act") shortly before disbanding. The album was characterized by elaborate keyboard constructions and heavy guitars, and by an epic-length (45 minutes-plus) symphonic composition dominating that release ("Crew Of The Orion"). TRESPASS is often associated with the neo-progressive genre.

Trespass The Works. After a bootleg CD, containing early Trespass material, had been released in the early 1990’s, original members Mark Sutcliffe (vocals/ guitars), Dave Crawte (guitars) and Paul Sutcliffe (drums) decided to release a definitive 16-song compilation in late 1992, entitled The Works. The album was recorded following the tour in support of their previous album, Nursery Cryme (1971), which saw them gain popularity, including a well-received slot at the Lincoln Great Western Festival. Gabriel felt less pleased with the design than Whitehead's previous works. Hackett felt "unsure" about the cover when he saw it for the first time, calling it a "strange" design that has made more sense to him over time. Banks thought it was the weakest cover Whitehead designed for Genesis. Rutherford felt the design was a decline in quality. following the "lovely atmosphere" of the Trespass and Nursery Cryme covers, to Foxtrot which was "a little bit weak"

This first soundtrack album from Trespass (there is also an album of Ry Cooder's score) contains "music from the motion picture" "plus bonus tracks. It is a gangsta rap sampler featuring Ice-T and Ice Cube, who star in the film, along with Public Enemy and others. In other words, there's a lot of rage, many threats of violence, and a generous helping of obscenities, all set to some busy rhythms.
