Andrew Neville And The Poor Choices @ The Standard part1.

Willy and the Poor Boys is the fourth studio album American rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival, released by Fantasy Records in November 1969, and was the last of three studio albums that the band released in that year. The album was remastered and reissued on 180 Gram Vinyl by Analogue Productions in 2006. The album features the songs "Down on the Corner", from which the album got its name, and "Fortunate Son", which is a well known protest song.

The Neville Brothers were an American R&B/soul/funk group, formed in 1977 in New Orleans, Louisiana. The group notion started in 1976, when the four brothers of the Neville family, Art (born 1937), Charles, (1938–2018), Aaron (b. 1941), and Cyril (b. 1948) got together to take part in the recording session of The Wild Tchoupitoulas, a Mardi Gras Indian group led by the Nevilles' uncle, George Landry ("Big Chief Jolly").

The rest of the album is in the basic Clearwater mode, but with considerably more variation and imagination than Creedence has previously produced. There are probably six hit singles on the album; when Fogerty says, We try to fill our albums with as many hits as possible, he means it. Down On The Corner and Fortunate Son ; you know those. Two of the other cuts are fully as powerful, and with regard to content, probably the most interesting things Creedence has done.
