English musician Thom Yorke has released three studio albums, one soundtrack album, two extended plays, one compilation album, and sixteen singles. The frontman of the alternative rock band Radiohead since 1985, Yorke's first singles as a solo artist were as a featured vocalist on the singles "El President" by Drugstore (which reached the top 20 in the UK) and "Rabbit in Your Headlights" by Unkle. Yorke embarked on a solo career in 2006 whilst still a member of Radiohead with his debut solo album The Eraser, an exploration of electronica  .

This album is also a sad one, in the sense that it ended up being a memoriam to Mulcahy's wife Melissa, who had suddenly died the year before the album was compiled. Mulcahy was obviously distraught after his wife's passing, but he's lucky that he had good friends to support him, many of which have given their musical talents to this project. Ciao My Shining Star was done to help Mark continue on fathering their twin daughters, after the lose of his wife, Melissa Rich. The music does so much more to keep hope in love alive for all of us. I thank Mark and Ray and all guys from Miralce Legion and I am grateful to the organizers and musicians that gave their inspired renditions of Mark's songs.
