Talk about Caroline Hall - Ivory Tower

This is an interesting cover version of the same song that appeared on Lynsey De Paul's debut album "Surprise" and was co-written by Ms De Paul. While sounding a bit more overproduced than Lynsey's version, Caroline's vocal is surprising contemporary and fresh. Weirdly, there is a quite a heavy guitar solo at the end but this gives the song a pleasant twist and it does sound like it should have been a hit, although may be a little out of step with what was happening in the charts at that time.
