Fastlife is the debut studio album by American recording artist Joe Jonas. The album was first released in the Netherlands on October 7, 2011 through Hollywood Records. Fastlife serves as Jonas' first album outside of his band Jonas Brothers, which announced an indefinite hiatus one year prior to its release. Jonas hoped to create a more mature and "electric" sound for the album, a contrast from the pop-rock releases with his band.

Produced by Rob Knox. I don't really know what you're thinking (Thinking) But I know what we're drinking (Drinking) Let me put your night in drive Cat walking on the runway (Runway) Tripping long on the highway (Highway) Going home is only right, yeah. Can't see nothing but blurred lines, hey-hey-hey Acting like it's your first time, hey-hey-hey Girl, I'm done with these games And you need to get in my lane Pushing it to the red line Hey-hey-hey

Joe Jonas really impresses on this album. From the instant he starts sing on "All this Time," you hear how much he's changed vocally since the last Jonas Brothers album. The vocal ability and complete change in musical style is a welcomed change. I appreciate every track on "Fast Life". Fastlife is pretty different than the Jonas Brothers' and Nick Jonas' solo album, but different doesn't always mean bad. From the electro-boosted tracks by Danja, the mastermind behind much of Britney Spears' album Blackout, the daunting Just In Love, to the heartbreak song See No More, there is bound to be something for everyone on this album.

Joseph Adam Jonas (born August 15, 1989) is an American singer, songwriter, and actor. He rose to fame as a member of the pop rock band the Jonas Brothers, alongside his brothers Kevin and Nick. The group released their debut studio album It's About Time through the Columbia label in 2006, which failed to achieve commercial success. After signing with Hollywood Records, the group released their self-titled second studio album in 2007, which became their breakthrough record.
