Voice Of The Heart ‎(LP, Album). Voice Of The Heart ‎(LP, Album, Promo).

Complete your Carpenters collection. The liner notes are a eulogy for Karen from her brother. The album contains strong soft pop/rock tracks. As I've starting spinning Carpenters recently, I'm always impressed by the artistry Richard Carpenter on the arrangements and instrumentation. Karen had the voice, not the greatest pop/rock voice but a strong one; but it's the music with which Richard surrounds her that makes the set pop. "Your Baby Doesn't Love You Anymore" is a track that I can pick up the needle and replay with fascination.

Released in October 1983, Carpenters’ ’Voice Of The Heart’ is a posthumous release that captured the deep beauty in Karen Carpenter’s voice. Published on. October 16, 2018. The album, released on 11 October 1983, is made up of tracks from various sessions between 1976 and 1982 on what was the first record to be released after Karen’s death. Given the fact that the majority of the ten tracks are ones that Richard revisited to make up this record it is much better album than you might at first think, assuming that you have not heard it before. One of the best songs on the record is a ballad that had been a minor hit for singer Bobby Vinton in 1979. Karen recorded it first for a solo album she was making with producer Phil Ramone in New York

The discography of the American pop group the Carpenters consists of 12 studio albums, two Christmas albums, two live albums, 46 singles, and numerous compilation albums. The duo was made up of siblings Karen (lead vocals and drums) and Richard Carpenter (keyboards and vocals). The siblings started their musical career together in the latter half of the 1960s

Voice of the Heart is the posthumous eleventh studio album by American pop duo Carpenters. It was released in 1983 after Karen's death and contains the two songs from her final recording sessions, "Now" and "You're Enough", as well as previously unreleased tracks from sessions of their previous album Made in America. Karen's last recording, "Now", was recorded in April 1982 while Karen was taking a break from medical treatment in New York and had temporarily returned to California.
