Killing on Adrenaline is the second album by American technical death metal band Dying Fetus. The technical guitar riffs began on this release, a trait that evolved and progressed even more on later albums. Kill Your Mother/Rape Your Dog" was a deceptively-titled joke-song, about the band's standpoint on mainstream music. The album was released by Morbid Records of Germany in 1998 as a one-album deal.

However, when Killing on Adrenaline was unleashed two years after their debut, people's heads started to turn (if they hadn't already turned because of their band name and very, very readable logo). Signing a contract for one album released under Morbid Records, this (along with Grotesque Impalement) was how Dying Fetus gained the attention of Relapse Records two years later. That is, of course, after they made their own, short-lived label, Blunt Force Records, that lasted less than two years

Killing On Adrenaline is my favourite Dying Fetus album (though I can't decide as they're all great especially War of Attrition and Destroy The Opposition). It's fast, it's brutal and it's technical. Full of blast beats to satisfy any grindcore and death metal fan. Also, there's a 7-minute epic (Procreate The Malformed), which is rare in death metal and it's full of turns and twists. This album as a whole never lets up. Each and every song is a masterpiece and you have to be an exceptional musician to compose and play this kind of music. And if you know Dying Fetus, then you know that "Killing On Adrenaline" (together alongside with 2000's major-label breakthrough, "Destroy The Opposition"), are the two quintessential . And if you are a newcomer, you could do a lot worse than to start right here, with one or both of those two albums.
