Elvis: That's the Way It Is is the soundtrack album by American singer and musician Elvis Presley from the 1970 documentary of the same name. It was released on November 11, 1970, by RCA Victor. The album consists of eight studio tracks recorded at RCA Studio B in Nashville, and four live tracks recorded at the International Hotel in Las Vegas. The album peaked at No. 21 on the Billboard 200 and at No. 8 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart

The original RCA album is expanded with the four single sides from the period and a selection of 'fly-on-the-wall' outtakes from the June Nashville sessions that produced the majority of tracks for the album. Completing the audio section, a separate disc of insightful rehearsal highlights showcases both the hard work and the playful atmosphere that governed Elvis' relationship with his musicians. It also includes an 80-page color booklet with rare photos, memorabilia, recording data and insightful sleeve notes
