Halloween II. This is a reconstruction of the unreleased 1980 debut album from The Misfits, 12 Hits From Hell, which was scrapped after guitarist Bobby Steele was replaced by Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein. All twelve songs-as well as the alternate first take of London Dungeon as a bonus track-received a more spacious and wide-stereo mix, a very modern-sounding mix that was a sharp contrast to the tight and claustrophobic 1980 mixes. I'll hopefully update it by months end (that gives me three days). It's a more contemporary album, one that no one would expect nor has ever been requested/mentioned before.

The Misfits is a boxed set of material by the horror punk band the Misfits, released in 1996 by Caroline Records. Packaged in a coffin-shaped, velvet-lined box, the set includes four compact discs covering most of the band's recorded material from the years when Glenn Danzig was their singer and songwriter.

The first two Staples albums for Stax were recorded with Steve Cropper, who was a staff producer and guitarist. These albums, Soul Folk in Action and We'll Get Over, didn't sell very well, so Bell took them to Alabama and had them record with the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section, who were a group of session musicians formed in 1967. And it's the bass line to 'I'll Take You There. In fact, it came out in Jamaica and in England two years before 'I'll Take You There' came out in America. But Jimmy Johnson bringing records Reggae records back from Jamaica is certainly plausible.
