Uprising is a 1980 reggae album by Bob Marley and the Wailers. Marley died the following year, and Uprising was the final studio album released during his lifetime. This album is one of Marley's most directly religious, with nearly every song addressing his Rastafarian beliefs, culminating in the acoustic recording of "Redemption Song". Uprising peaked at on Billboard's (North America) Black Albums chart, and on the Pop Albums chart.

The Uprising is the fourth studio album by English hip hop group Foreign Beggars. It was released on 1 October 2012 through mau5trap. Most of the mixing was done by Wez Clarke. The group completed their nine-date headline Uprising Tour in 2013, off the back of the album release, supported by True Tiger and ƱZ. The original dates were from 9 to 19 October 2012, but the tour was postponed due to unforeseen reasons.

An eventual concept of the novel is a rebellion, an Uprising against the controlling governmen. he protagonists realizing that they have the power (although, should you read Orwell’s novel, you’ll know better).
