Closing Time is the debut album by American singer-songwriter Tom Waits, released in March 1973 on Asylum Records. Produced and arranged by former Lovin' Spoonful member Jerry Yester, Closing Time was the first of seven of Waits' major releases by Asylum. The album is noted for being predominantly folk influenced although Waits intended for Closing Time to be "a jazz, piano-led album.

A Journey Through Time is the seventh studio album from American singer Benny Mardones. It was released in 2002 by Crazy Boy Records. A Journey Through Time was originally intended as the soundtrack to the Mardones' documentary "Into The Night: The Benny Mardones Story". However, the album became a loosely separated project, acting as a "musical biography". This album is very good. It has the Daft Punk vocals with some very funky basslines, catchy synths, epic guitar solos and some fantastic features. Honestly there is no track that just stands out as bad, only ones that feel a little weird or just don't bring anything new to the album. This was a very fun listen. Full of 80s swagger and funk filled groove, one of the more unique funk acts in recent years prove that they can construct a full length album as well as they can construct a tune. While it does suffer from pacing issues, for a debut album, it's pretty damn solid.
