Peter Frampton was on top of the world as 1977 started. The mega success of his 1976 multi-platinum Frampton Comes Alive album brought fame, fortune and stardom the 26-year-old singer and guitarist never saw coming. That double live record topped the charts and made Frampton a star. But as gravity dictates, what goes up, must come down. Frampton's fall began with more success. Released in May 1977, I'm in You followed the landmark live LP. It was not what fans expected.

Peter Frampton is the eleventh studio album by English singer-songwriter Peter Frampton, released in 1994. An expanded version of the album was issued in 2000. It also features one of the last recordings made by Peter's former bandmate Steve Marriott, "Out of the Blue". All songs written by Peter Frampton and Kevin Savigar; except where noted. Peter Kenneth Frampton (born 22 April 1950) is an English rock musician, singer, songwriter, producer, and guitarist. He was previously associated with the bands Humble Pie and The Herd. After the end of his 'group' career, as a solo artist, Frampton released several albums including his international breakthrough album, the live release Frampton Comes Alive!. The album sold more than 8 million copies in the United States and spawned several hit singles.
