Metal fatigue is a weakening of metal due to stress, resulting in an accumulation of small cracks. Metal Fatigue may also refer to: Metal Fatigue (album), a 1985 album by Allan Holdsworth. Metal Fatigue (novel), a 1996 science fiction novel by Sean Williams. Metal Fatigue (video game), a 2000 real-time strategy video game by Zono Incorporated.

Here, on 1985's Metal Fatigue, everything finally comes together for him. For the majority of this record, Holdsworth is joined by bassist Jimmy Johnson and drummer Chad Wackerman, and these two musicians, virtuosos in their own right, complement Holdsworth beautifully (check out Johnson's wonderful part in "Home" and lovely solo on "Panic Station"). The leader is known for his extremely legato phrasing and rich harmonic vocabulary, both of which are on display in the solo and frantic fills of "Metal Fatigue. Anchored by Paul Williams' vocals, the.

Metal Fatigue is an album that contains the best guitar-based jazz-fusion that you'll ever hear. Allan Holdsworth has his own voice on the guitar, and he always lets it show up front. As with a few other Holdsworth albums, this album contains occasional vocals, and they always drag the listening experience down a bit for me. However, the musicianship on this album redeems completely. Again, as with his other albums, Holdsworth's phrasing on the guitar is impeccable and far beyond what I've heard countless other jazz guitarists play, except maybe Joe Pass, but obviously Pass was.

An album which influence knows no bounds. The first couple notes of the distorted, gain-driven harmonic guitar tone of the opening track Metal Fatigue, sets a blistering pace that holds up for the entirety of the album. Holdsworth plucks pinch harmonics and throws in acrobatic, effortless lead lines, as the main riff opens up into a bed of luscious, obtuse chord voicings.

Metal fatigue Lyrics. Look in my eyes and you will satisfy yourself So many lives Look at the picture of the sanctifying light So many words to justify How long? How long can this go on? How long? It's heavy metal fatigue. Maybe the wind will dry your endless tears away It's only the strong that can survive Show me a river that is flowing to the sea If you believe, then so do I. Hear me calling, I am falling, throw the line Hold me closer, so much closer, and I'll unwind.

The first Group for all Metal Fatigue-Fans, no matter if Rimtech, Mil-Agro, Neuropa or Hedoth . Hi, I'm Owen Fort, son of Jeff Fort(Zono programmer, not the gang leader).

Metal Fatigue takes this approach with the RTS genre, allowing you to construct giant stomping power suits to dominate the battlefield. Metal Fatigue is a little unusual in that it supports not only DirectX but also OpenGL and Glide video modes too. Modern PCs support DirectX and OpenGL video modes, while Glide is a relic from the days of the 3DFX video cards. You might expect that to get the game working, all you need to do is use either DirectX or OpenGL mode.

Talk about Various - Metal Fatigue

Ebony's compilations feature some really great songs and this, their first, is no exception. There's not much to find on most of the artists here, but the second track is by Savage, who went on to release a commercial full-length on Ebony and others on other labels since. The surprising thing about this album is the quality of the sound. The guitars and drums generally sound real and present, the tinny and distant sound heard on some later Ebony LPs isn't heard here. A very rewarding album for NWOBHM fans.

this was the first ever compilation lp released by the legendary ebony records out of hull in the uk in 1982, this was the first EVER record this label put out, i think the band most remembered on this lp would be headhunter, this was a great compilation for its time and the beggining of something great to come as this label released a lot of awesome records between 1982 and 1987, if there was ever anything to complain about it would only be the lack of information on all the artists it would have been nice back then if these lps came with lyric sheets with info on each band but hey this lp came out 32 years ago we did not have the internet back then, today if you google properly im sure you can find out about any one of these bands if there is much on the net about them.....
