The live revisit of the "Shine" B-side finds bandleader and songwriter Bill Nelson throwing out any attempt at lyrics whatsoever, re-creating the piece as an instrumental workout centered around Nelson's lead guitar work. Simon Clark has his moment in the sun with an electric piano solo, but the real light of this extended jazz-funk workout is Nelson, who really does shine here.
