Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" is a rock song originally sung by Darlene Love and included on the 1963 seasonal compilation album, A Christmas Gift for You from Philles Records. According to Darlene Love, Ronnie Spector was not able to put as much emotion into the song as needed.

Album A Christmas Gift for You from Phil Spector. The snow's coming down I'm watching it fall Lots of people around Baby please come home. The church bells in town All ringing in song Full of happy sounds Baby please come home. They're singing "Deck The Halls" But it's not like Christmas at all 'Cause I remember when you were here And all the fun we had last year. Pretty lights on the tree I'm watching them shine You should be here with me Baby please come home

Gordon signed with RCA soon after and began recording for the label in the fall. He appeared on the Grand Ole Opry and supported Ernest Tubb, Elvis Presley, and Hank Snow on tour. His records sold modestly, though they never charted; he remained on RCA for two years, and when his contract expired he was snapped up by Mercury Records. Gordon's style changed while on Mercury, for a number of possible reasons. The label let him record much of his own material, he worked extensively with producer Pappy Daily, and the nascent rock & roll movement had changed tastes.

Angel Olsen - True Blue. Mindless Self Indulgence - Witness. Mystery Skulls - It's Mine. Nergard - A Bit Closer to Heaven. Camila Cabello - Señorita. Baby please come home. Милая, прошу, вернись домой. The church bells in town. Церковные колокола в городе. They're singing "Deck The Halls". Всюду поют "Украсьте залы", Not like Christmas at all. Но это совсем не похоже на Рождество. I remember when you were here.
