Like many of their contemporaries, Clor are a British band heavily influenced by the sharp-edged sounds of the late '70s and early '80s. Interestingly enough, though, they find their niche within this trend by taking their inspiration not from tragically glamorous post-punk, but from the tightly wound, occasionally spazzy, but more mainstream side of new wave.

Clor’s self-titled debut album was the only long-player of the band’s short career and spawned the singles Love + Pain , Outlines and Good Stuff. Despite the band’s limited longevity, the album has proved to be well-regarded, and UK music magazine NME listed it No. 1 in its 100 Lost Albums You Need To Know in 2015.

In Color is the second studio album by Cheap Trick, released in 1977. It was produced by Tom Werman. This album is considered a classic of the power pop genre. The album was ranked No. 4 on Shake Some Action: The Ultimate Power Pop Guide. In 2003, the album was also ranked number 443 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
