Album The Sun Will Come up, The Seasons Will Change. Last December Lyrics. You were different to anyone I've ever known Used to have a tendency to drink alone But when I met you, I felt like I wanted to save you somehow I loved the way that you always put me first You gave me your best and I gave you my worst Took it for granted 'cause I couldn't see. Why you'd let me in just to get hurt. Last December’ is the 12th track in Nina Nesbitt’s second studio album ‘The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change’, released on 1 February 2019. The song was written and first performed in December 2013 and it was inspired by Nina’s first date with her current boyfriend, Mike Duce; it recounts the first stages of their relationship. During the whole song, in the background, you can hear the dripping of water, a recurring element in the album, which is also featured on its cover.
Nina Nesbitt's vocals are a standout here. Her tone is haunting, cold, and brittle, which aides exceptionally well to a lot of the themes being expressed in this album, and that's what really, truly, is the star here. 78. "The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change" is a piece of pop with solid and visible attempts on fitting the current music market, but it's not something to worry about, this work still sounds direct and intimate, creating an empowering and melancholic atmosphere at the same time. I accompany Nina since 2013, and is a girl has been fighting for her place in the industry, she does not innovate the pop here, however it has quality to spare and will grow a lot still.
Nina Nesbitt opened up about finding her pop sound, producing from her bedroom, her love for Alanis Morissette, and more. Between the album’s dreamy, whimsical melodies, there’s a bit of grit from the 24-year-old singer-songwriter. On one track, she professes the empire that she’s going to build, while on The Best You Had," she provides a big screw you to exes everywhere. Nina is busy preparing for her North American tour, which kicks off in late February with a performance at the Cambridge Room at the House of Blues in Dallas. But she found some time to chat with Teen Vogue about finding her sound, producing from her bedroom, her love for Alanis Morissette, and more.
