Nothing Gold Can Stay is the debut studio album by American rock band New Found Glory, released on March 18, 1999 through independent record label Eulogy Recordings. At the time, the band was then named "A New Found Glory", but later dropped the indefinite article "A" due to some fans struggling to find their records in stores

Glory on the Battlefield. Dead bodies litter the ground. 70%. Diamhea, October 7th, 2016. Of course this doesn't speak to the songwriting, which to me is one of the more lukewarm aspects of Glory on the Battlefield. There doesn't seem to be much coherent flow or logical conclusion to most of these songs. They are just a number of riffs stacked together and presumed to be a song. While there is nothing approaching a masterstroke here, a couple tunes like "Quest for the Sword" and the aforementioned "Lost in a Dark Forest" seriously kick ass. "Journey's End" also rides the coattails of some truly majestic lead progressions.
