Harry James And His Orchestra 1948-49 is a double album by American trumpeter Harry James with The Harry James Orchestra. The album consists of live radio transcripts recorded during 1948 and 1949 and was released in 1969 by Big Band Landmarks (Volumes X-XI). As bop surpassed swing by the late 1940s, James was surprisingly open to its influence.

His needs are few, his room is bare: He hardly uses his fancy chair The more he bleeds, the more he lives He never forgets and he never forgives Perhaps today you gave a nod To Sweeney Todd The demon barber of Fleet Street. The song opens the same way that The Ballad of Sweeney Todd opened, but by the fourth verse the lyrics change to begin to reveal the final message of the show: To seek revenge may lead to hell But everyone does it, though seldom as well.

Ballad of Hollis Brown. Written by: Bob Dylan. Hollis Brown He lived on the outside of town Hollis Brown He lived on the outside of town With his wife and five children And his cabin fallin’ down. You looked for work and money And you walked a rugged mile You looked for work and money And you walked a rugged mile Your children are so hungry That they don’t know how to smile. Your baby’s eyes look crazy They’re a-tuggin’ at your sleeve Your baby’s eyes look crazy They’re a-tuggin’ at your sleeve You walk the floor and wonder why With every breath you breathe

Lyrics to "Dreams Are More Precious" song by Enya: Come! See! High above. Come! Dream, and then tomorrow You'll see your heart will know Dreams are more precious than gold. Dreams are more precious than gold.

He enjoyed numerous TV roles, but it was his work in East of Eden (1955), Rebel Without a Cause (1955) and Giant (1956) made him as an icon of cool who remains idolized decades later. The actor, who was born on Feb. 8, 1931, and would have turned 85 today, died in a car crash in 1955 when he was 24. Below are three of the scenes that make him remembered today.
