The Japanese Red Army (日本赤軍 Nihon Sekigun, abbreviated JRA) was a communist militant group founded by Fusako Shigenobu early in 1971 in Lebanon. After the Lod airport massacre, it sometimes called itself Arab-JRA. The JRA's stated goals were to overthrow the Japanese government and the monarchy, as well as to start a world revolution. The group was also known as the Anti-Imperialist International Brigade (AIIB), the Holy War Brigade, and the Anti-War Democratic Front.
Japanese Red Army founder Fusako Shigenobu, shown here in the documentary "Children of the Revolution," spent nearly 30 years in hiding before being arrested in 2000. The imprisoned founder of the Japanese Red Army admits her efforts to bring revolution to Japan in the 1970s and ’80s ended in failure but she remains optimistic that public protest can check government moves to alter the pacifist Constitution

Japanese Red Army, in full United Red Army Japanese Rengo Sekigun, militant Japanese organization that was formed in 1969 in the merger of two far-left factions. Beginning in 1970, the Red Army undertook several major terrorist operations, including the hijacking of several Japan Air Lines airplanes, a massacre at Tel Aviv’s Lod Airport (1972), and the seizure and occupation of embassies in various countries. In 1971–72 the organization underwent severe factional infighting that led to the execution of 14 of its militants by fellow Red Army members
The successor group, the Japanese Red Army, would go on to be notable for it’s cooperation with the PFLP (Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine), another Marxist-Leninist group. The JRA carried out the Japan Airlines Flight 351 hijacking and the Lod Airport massacre where several Israelis were killed. After the Japanese occupation of Manchura and parts of China, tensions between the Empire of Japan and Soviet Union began to rise.
Traditional Japanese poetry comes in many highly technical forms. You've probably all heard of haiku, but there are many more types of Japanese poetry. The most significant are the chōka, tanka, renga, haikai, renku, hokku, and haiku. The chōka and tanka are both forms of waka. The earliest Japanese poetry was part of an oral tradition and is almost entirely lost. And even once the Japanese started writing stuff down, a lot of the early emphasis was on poetry in Chinese ("kanshi"). The first major written collection of Japanese poetry (in Japanese) is found in the Kojiki, dated 712 . The bulk of the Kojiki is devoted to stories about the gods and Japanese rulers. Eight years later, the Nihon Shoki was produced; it too focused on gods and rulers. These early compositions also recorded some poems and songs that had been passed down orally.

The Red Army Choir (Artist) Format: Audio C. Besides being history and a classic the album is worth the price if only for the Russian National Anthem. This is the old Soviet version, but same music as now under the Federation. In spite of their problems, Russians remain passionately patriotic, the soul of old "mother Russia", and the music reflects this. But I love to hear a male chorus sing the russian national anthem. And a normal person can sing IT.
