I could not find out much about Omega Records or Lloyd Mumm. I am assuming that it is a made up name for a staff orchestra. This was a common practice for budget labels. I am guessing this came out in either 1962 or 1963. I have also heard there is a volume 2. This album is a rather light and bubbly collection of continental tunes for couples dancing. It has its moments at times. Tonight We Love is a rendition of Tchaikovsky’s First Piano Concerto. Likewise, Til the End of Time borrows heavily from Chopin’s Polonaise Op 53 in A flat Major. The rest of the songs are standards of sorts.
