Earliest work includes the classic 'House Of God' (1989) and the seemingly rather unknown but excellent 'The Difference Between Noise & Music' (1991) 'LSD 3D Acid Remixes'(1993) albums. The third (and most recent) DHS album 'Attention Earth People' (2002) features numerous samples from early Sci-Fi films and television shows.

Attention Earth People: The Album, Ben Stokes' second LP as DHS, comes over a decade after the double-EP House of God - one of the first records merging the clinical side of techno to the long tradition of hip-hop breaks records. Collecting productions spread out over the past seven years, it features much material in the same vein as House of God, which proves either that Stokes was far ahead of the curve back in the late '80s or that he hasn't progressed much since. Actually, both have elements of truth. There's the rub, when function meets.

Talk about Dimensional Holofonic Sound - The House Of God

Wafi
Stop! Listen? The pressing of this superb record is very very good. BUT. If you can afford the original. Then buy it! The original has the (obviously) correct track order. I state this as the original does follow some kind of a narrative, albeit a slightly warped one. Just listen to both the original and this release and you will see. So I am not trying to put off buying this particular release. Just compare both the original track list format and this one and you will (see) hear! But overall this is a release is a great back up to the original. Follow me? Peace ;) P.s. I hope sellers (if they read this?) do not hike the prices up. As one= it's unfair to you the buyer. And two= it is very very unfair to the producer who doesn't earn a penny. Double peace ;)
