Th runout on side 2 was originally etched with "ECM-B-1155-B-WA-2" but the "B" was scratched out and replaced with "1". It now reads "ECM-1-1151-B-WA-2". Reply Notify me Helpful. I think it's one of the most beautiful records they ever made. A crystal clear sound (excellent production - watch the sky, on the cover), a bunch of wonderful little melodies, well structured (no free jazz, no exhausting guitar solos). Sometimes you feel like feathers flying around your head, especially on the opener

American Idiot is the seventh studio album by American rock band Green Day. Produced by Rob Cavallo, the album was released in the UK on September 20, 2004 and in the US on September 21, 2004 by Reprise Records. Green Day first achieved popularity in the 1990s with a string of successful albums. Following disappointing sales of their sixth album, Warning (2000), the band took a break before recording their next album, titled Cigarettes and Valentines. Rather than re-record that material, the group decided to start over. A concept album dubbed a punk rock opera by the band members, American Idiot follows the story of Jesus of Suburbia, a lower-middle-class American adolescent anti-hero. Through its plot, the album expresses the disillusionment and dissent of a generation that came of age in a period shaped by many tumultuous events like the Iraq War.

Coming seventeen years after their massively influential and critically acclaimed self-titled debut album, American Football has finally announced their also eponymous sophomore record. The band's new recording will be released Oct. 21 on Polyvinyl Records. Fans can listen to the lead single "I've Been So Lost For So Long" now on SoundCloud or purchase it digitally now. In addition to the single and new record, American Football will be hitting the road at the end of this year and into next, playing a series of album release shows.

Which is the only Australian group to ever debut at Number 1 in the American album chart with their first album? You are right: 5 Seconds of Summer. Love them or loath them, there’s no denying the huge achievement of 5 Seconds Of Summer. The four Sydney teenagers, all aged under 20, managed to score their first US album on their first try with their self-titled debut 5 Seconds Of Summer. More impressively, their unprecedented success included being the first ever Australians to debut at with their first album and the biggest debut since SoundScan began tracking data in 1991.

The All-American Rejects' last album came out in March 2012. Kids In The Street showed a slightly different sound for the band, but it was a great fit. The songs were more mature, more reflective, and more revealing. Finally, in mid 2014, The All-American Rejects were refreshed and ready to get back to the music again. They played some shows here and there around the summer time, but were already thinking about recording their next album. In spite of plans to record an album that fall, the band evidently did not enter the studio. In 2015 they released on new song, "There's A Place," for the drama film Miss You Already (in which Tyson Ritter appears). In spring 2016 The All-American Rejects officially began working on new music, with Benny Cassette producing.
