The album was later released on November 4 of the same year, through Shrapnel Records, under the moniker "George Lynch's Souls of We" with new album artwork, a rearranged track listing as well the additional track "Nork 13". George Lynch (born September 28, 1954) is an American hard rock guitarist and songwriter. Lynch is best known for his work with heavy metal band Dokken and his post-Dokken solo band, Lynch Mob. Lynch is considered to be one of the most influential and famous 1980s metal guitarists. He is known for his unique playing style and sound. He is ranked on "100 Greatest Guitarists Of All Time" by Guitar World magazine and is also ranked on "Top 10 Metal Guitarists Of All Time" by Gibson.

Souls Of We is the brainchild of Dokken axe wizard George Lynch and former Brides Of Destruction wailer London LeGrande, and it’s a worthy addition to any record collection. In sound Let The Truth Be Known reminds me of countless records that emerged in the mid 90s, as there’s a strong, muddy grunge style feel throughout, but the songwriting alone enables the band to rise from the swamp like a leviathan. Overall, Souls Of We are a cool band, but what the future holds is difficult to say, as so many records of this ilk have a ‘side project’ feel to them, and sometimes that’s when they work best. For now, Let The Truth Be Known exists as a dirty slab of a record that deserves your attention, and Mr Lynch dazzles me every time, forever making Dokken seem like some long extinct dinosaur. So long may he continue to carve new niches with his deadly weapon.

Souls Of We signifies a new beginning for world renowned guitarist George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob) and legendary Hollywood frontman London LeGrand (Brides Of Destruction). The chemistry between Lynch and LeGrand was instant and undeniable. George Lynch s Souls Of We is a modern rock band with strong songs fronted by the consummate frontman and one of the best guitarists in the world. This quartet will really start turning heads once they hit the road and fans see the band in action. The first song "Let the Truth Be Known" ( I think anyone with ears knows the truth by now, George!) is a blatant copy of Collective Soul's "Precious Declaration" guitar riff simply played faster. Maybe next Lynch will put out an album of Ratt cover songs. At least we could hear some decent songs being butchered.

NET: "George will be recording with Japanese mega band KATS on two new tracks for their new album on April 4-5 at NRG Studios in Los Angeles, CA. "George will be a featured performer at the 31st annual Dallas International Guitar Show on April 19-20 at the Dallas Market Hall Convention Center. There will be two new George Lynch instructional DVDs produced by Hal Leonard. Production will take place in Milwaukee, WI April 22-26.
