If anyone had said to me when I was a rookie muso, One day you’re going to be part of this massive, weird band with brilliant and quirky musicians of every conceivable hue, and they’ll be like a family, and you’ll tour with them and your live shows will be great outpourings of joy and make all kinds of racket. on whatever bits of obscure percussion you want, provided you can crowbar a folk song in there somewhere, I’m not sure I would have believed them. I’ve learned loads with Bellowhead. Apart from being a huge amount of fun, Bellowhead has been a massively useful educational experience for me.
