Second Coming is the second and to date, most recent studio album by English rock band The Stone Roses, released through Geffen Records on 5 December 1994 in the UK and in early 1995 in the US. It was recorded at Forge Studios in Oswestry, Shropshire and Rockfield Studios near Monmouth in Wales between 1992 and 1994. It went platinum in the UK and sold over 1 million copies worldwide and was dedicated to Philip Hall, the band's publicist, who died of cancer in 1993.

Stone North is a piece for live electronics and tabletop guitar in which tones generated from the guitar are processed and delayed to build a shifting bed of sound that slowly evolves over time. Close attention is paid to the texture and contours of these sounds, so that a distinct audio microworld is moved through in each section of the piece. By using extended techniques on the guitar in combination with the sound processing, a personal and idiosyncratic sound palette is produced, one that encourages deep and detailed listening. Since ’57, Osborn has racked up over 200 Top 40 hits, with 18 of them climbing all the way to the top slot on the pop charts.
