ntligen På Väg was the seventh album from Swedish singer/songwriter Ted Gärdestad, issued on the Polar Music label in 1994, his first full-length release since 1981's Stormvarning. ntligen På Väg which was produced by his longtime friend Janne Schaffer and Leif Larsson and included the comeback hits "Ge En Sol", "Hon Är Kvinnan", "I Min Radio" and "Om Du Ville Ha Mig" also came to be Ted's final album. All lyrics written by Kenneth Gärdestad; all music composed by Ted Gärdestad.

Ted Gärdestad was born Ted Arnbjörn Gärdestad, to Arne (1923-2016) and Margit Gärdestad in 1956 in Sollentuna, Stockholm County. He was the youngest of three siblings and had two older brothers; Kjell (1944–2000) and Kenneth (b. 1948). The family lived in Sollentuna during Ted's childhood. Ted was 15 years old when he and his eight-year-older brother Kenneth Gärdestad decided to contact the record company Polar Music in 1971. Ted was composer and singer, while Kenneth wrote lyrics to Ted's melodies. Their collaboration continued throughout Ted's career.
