Talk about John Denver - The Best Of John Denver

Saithinin
Going through my collection and found that I have a US-made (black text on CD face) version of PCD1-0374. It's the one with "RE" on the back cover.I don't have the original to compare, but going on what I hear I am thinking this remaster (if that's the proper term) corrected something with "Rocky Mountain High". My reason for suspecting this is because there is hiss (and high pitch noise) between all the tracks except the last two. At the end of "Poems, Prayers And Promises", there's a couple seconds of hiss followed by dead silence. "Rocky Mountain High" starts with a higher level of tape hiss (and higher volume overall.)Also - the hiss fades at the end of "Leaving On A Jet Plane". Since this was a side closer, perhaps the mastering engineer faded it for that reason.Again, I don't have the original CD to compare, but I'd bet it doesn't have the aforementioned anomaly with the last track.
