Jamie Cullum (born 20 August 1979) is an English jazz-pop singer-songwriter and radio presenter. Although primarily a vocalist and pianist, he also accompanies himself on other instruments, including guitar and drums. Since April 2010, he has presented a weekly evening jazz show on BBC Radio 2. His Jewish father, whose mother had managed to flee Nazi Germany, was born in Jerusalem.

Britain's Jamie Cullum's sixth studio album, 2013's Momentum, finds the jazz-influenced singer/songwriter flexing his creative muscles on a stylistically varied set. Working with a variety of instruments from vintage keyboards to electronic samples and beats, Cullum clearly used this project to expand his sonic palette. Which isn't to say that the singer has completely abandoned his usual vocals-and-piano format.

It was released on 9 November 2009 in the United Kingdom and it was produced by Greg Wells and Martin Terefe, and mixed by Gregg Wells, Thomas Juth and Ryan Hewitt. The albums title is taken from the novel The Pursuit of Love by Nancy Mitford, the album was recorded at a Los Angeles studio using songs that Cullum originally recorded at his Shepherds Bush recording studio, Terrified Studios.
