You Forgot It in People is the second studio album by Canadian indie rock band Broken Social Scene, released on October 15, 2002. It followed Feel Good Lost, and was the band's commercial breakthrough. Local hype for the album was so big that initial pressings sold out quickly, causing the need for a 2003 reissue.

Case in point: Broken Social Scene. The band's aforementioned art-house pedigree goes a long way toward making You Forgot It In People more than just another fantastic pop record: One of its foremost traits is its airy spaciousness. On many of its tracks, the sounds seem to resonate indefinitely, as if played at top volume on a Greenland hillside and recorded miles away.

With a definite shift in tone from their previous album Feel Good Lost, You Forgot It In People is Broken Social Scene’s second album, released October 15,2002. Song artist Lorde even makes reference to Lover’s Spit in her song Ribs. You Forgot It in People Q&A.

In 2003, BSS released a stopgap compilation, Bee Hives, which gathered B-sides from their singles as well as remixed tracks. Like their second album, Broken Social Scene earned the group another Juno Award for Best Alternative.

It won the Alternative Album of the Year Juno Award in 2003. It followed Feel Good Lost, and was the band's commercial and artistic breakthrough. Many of the songs that didn't make it onto the album were featured in a B-sides compilation titled Bee Hives released in 2004. Connect to this site.

I go behind the building after work and smoke a joint I had in my cigarette pack and put said CD in my discman (Yes, I still had a discman in 2004). I start my bike ride home, with Cause Time and Looks just like the sun. By the time I'm a block away from work, I am FLOORED. It reminds me of her, It reminds me of my prime, riding my bike everywhere I went, getting high, going to parties, and enjoying life in the most visceral way possible.
