September Girls are a five-piece noise pop band from Dublin, Ireland. The band formed in September 2011 and performed their first gig in Dublin in November 2011 In Autumn 2014, ahead of their appearance at the CMJ Music Marathon in New York, the band announced signing to Kanine Records, and an EP release through Kanine & Fortuna Pop!. In January 2014 September Girls released their first studio album Cursing the Sea via independent record label Fortuna Pop!  . backing vocals from A Place to Bury Strangers' Oliver Ackermann Members. Following the release of their second album Age of Indignation via Fortuna POP!, Dublin quintet September Girls have revealed the video for ‘Jaw On The Floor’, which is a duet with Oliver Ackerman of A Place To Bury Strangers, and a whole load of UK tour dates. The video, which was premiered by Tiny Mix Tapes, was shot by September Girls themselves while driving across the American Southwest, as well in a radio session in Los Angeles.

They’ve toured to packed venues and are still riding off the back of their latest video – ‘Jaw on the Floor’ (a duet with Oliver Ackerman from A Place to Bury Strangers) from their album Age of Indignation. They’ve got plenty to smile about, but judging from the video, they’re be pretty serious too, marrying melody with menace in a Corbjin-esque promo that’s monochrome and ominous. The Dublin quintet shot it themselves while driving across the American Southwest, and it’s this DIY ethic that makes them such a strong proposition
