The first vinyl release on Roman Flugel and Jorn Elling Wuttke's label Alter Ego Recordings presents two classic Alter Ego tracks remixed by Luke Slater. Things kick off on the a side of the record with the fullbodied bassline and frequent cymbals in his "OrtoeCircuit Mix" of "Soulfree". This rework is a reminder that Slater's soulful side is every bit as good as his tough mode. His "Dinosour Mix" was already in the boxes of legendary dj's like Andrew Weatherall or Sven Vath and shows Slater with the foot on the pedal. Cascades of flanged analog sounds drifting in and out of focus while nononsense drums and percussion driving dancefloors in frenzied submission.
