The Beatles - Mono Masters flac album

The Beatles in Mono is a boxed set compilation comprising the remastered monaural recordings by the Beatles. The set was released on compact disc on 9 September 2009, the same day the remastered stereo recordings and companion The Beatles (The Original Studio Recordings) were also released, along with The Beatles: Rock Band video game. The remastering project for both mono and stereo versions was led by EMI senior studio engineers Allan Rouse and Guy Massey.

When it came time to release The Beatles in Mono on vinyl in 2014 - both as a heavy-duty box set and as individual LPs - this double-CD set was pressed as a triple-vinyl set. The Mono Masters doesn't follow Past Masters' track listing exactly, primarily because the singles released after 1966 didn't necessarily have mono mixes: there are no mono mixes for "Get Back" or "Let It Be," but there are mono versions of the new songs from the 1968 Yellow Submarine soundtrack, and they're all here.

The Beatles Mono Box Set was compiled as a special interest package for the hard-core fan. It presents the first ten albums in re-mastered mono (the final 3 albums made their debuts in stereo only), and a double album of singles and EPs, called "Mono Masters". PEPPER cutout sheet, the four WHITE ALBUM color glossies and collage poster, etc. The detailing is extraordinary and each disc even comes in its own resealable clear mylar sleeve. As for the music, well it's The Beatles as they intended you to hear them- not the after-thought stereo remixes by studio engineers.

Past Masters is a two disc compilation album set by the Beatles which was released in 1988 as part of the first issue of the band's entire catalogue on compact disc.

Past Masters contains 33 non-album Beatles tracks - ranging from classic A-sides to hits sung in German - two CDs were released in 1988 called Past Masters Volume One and Volume Two. Although originally featuring a combination of mono and stereo versions, the remastered Past masters compilation contains only the stereo mixes, if they exist. Many of the band's best known and most acclaimed songs are present, and the collection illustrates the vast amount of work that was created in little over seven years.

The album became the first Beatles album released in North America when it was released in Canada on 25 November under the augmented title Beatlemania! With the Beatles, with additional text on the album cover, and issued only in mono at the time, catalogue number T 6051 (a stereo Canadian release would come in 1968, catalogue number ST 6051)
