Battle Ram started playing together at the end of the summer 2001 in Ascoli Piceno, Italy as a cover band; in the beginning it was just for the fun of playing their favourite songs: mainingly . Metal, NWOBHM and cult epic stuff, then they started writing their own material.

Okay, so Battle Ram definitely aren't the only epic heavy metal band to release a good full-length, but in my defense the list is pretty fucking short. Longings Past had a great pair of albums in the early '90s, and since then Tales of Medusa are the only other band that comes to mind who have done it, in 2006 and again in 2010. A few good demos and/or EP's have come up - Ageless Wisdom, Wotan, Isen Torr, and Graven Rite/Eternal Champion have put out some quality stuff, albeit in small quantities

Ram Jam is the debut studio album by American rock band Ram Jam in 1977. The first track on the album, the single "Black Betty", is Ram Jam's best known song. It went to on the UK singles chart in September 1977. The album reached on the Billboard Pop Albums chart in the United States. The band was re-christened "American Ram Jam" for the UK market to avoid confusion with a UK band with the same name.

Ram (stylised as RAM) is a studio album by Paul McCartney and Linda McCartney, released in May 1971 on Apple Records. Ram was recorded amid McCartney's legal action in the United Kingdom's High Court to dissolve the Beatles' partnership, following the band's break-up the year before. It was recorded in New York with guitarists David Spinozza and Hugh McCracken, and future Wings drummer Denny Seiwell.
