Epic is the second studio album by American singer–songwriter Sharon Van Etten. The album was released on September 21, 2010. Epic was recorded and mixed over 11 days in Philadelphia between May 28, 2010 and June 6, 2010 at Miner Street Recordings with producer Brian McTear.

Sharon Van Etten is one of the most inspiring new singer-songwriters to make her presence known in the 2000s. Her 2010 release Epic is titled as a sly nod to the fact that her music is not dependent on grandiose visions to get its sweet points across. A Crime is a gorgeous piece of longing. It brings us Van Etten’s voice at its purest and loneliest. A great thing, since her voice is an immediately gratifying instrument. Peace Signs throws together a band.

This past April, Bon Iver's Justin Vernon stood alone on stage at Memorial Hall in Cincinnati and played a song entitled "Love More". It was not a new Bon Iver tune but a cover culled from the songbook of Brooklyn's Sharon Van Etten.
