Scientifik ended up selling copies of the album out of his trunk around Massachusetts, and got local college radio stations to play songs from the album. Towards the end of his career, Scientifik had become interested in religion, self-help and philosophy, and these things became prevalent in his lyrics. His lyrics contained many references to the Five-Percent Nation and Louis Farrakhan. He began to spend more time in New York to secure another all-star lineup for his sophomore project, Black Jesus.

Featuring Jared Warren, later of Big Business and The Melvins, vicious smartassery with some of the greatest song titles ever conceived.

Self-titled Album is the third studio album released by The Audition. This is the first release since the departure of original bassist and founding member Joe Lussa (Joe did record all bass parts on all 10 songs).

Boston area rapper Scientifik (Born Dinitry A. Behrmann in 1972) recorded at least two LPs in the 90s. But it is Criminal, which was denied a proper domestic release due to industry politricks, that lives on in the boom-bap afterlife of folklore, vinyl bootleg, hissy dub, and mp3 download. Criminal boasts a mid-90s dream team of producers – deities RZA, Buckwild, and Diamond D contribute beats – as well as a tragic, dramatic back story.

Their self-titled album was released on Oct. 3, 1983. After engineering 1981's Abacab, Hugh Padgham took over as the group's producer on Genesis. The album got its reboot name because of this, and also because it was the first group LP to feature a complete set of songs composed by all three members

It's got a shitload of tracks and is prolly worth a few dollars but even if you don't wanna pay i'll just give it for free on release day anyways.

Swift’s sixth LP was the biggest-selling and most divisive album of 2017 and 2018 - and it’s now her least-nominated LP since her self-titled debut. Here lies Taylor Swift’s reputation - or at least the final nail in the coffin of her Reputation era. Since its release last November, Swift’s sixth album has kept a deserved hold on the pop narrative of the last year, but on Friday, the album and its singles were all suspiciously absent from the Grammy nominations list, save for one lone recognition in the Best Pop Vocal Album Category

Notes

This is the demo tape for the album "Criminal" recorded during 1993 on Chemistry Records right before it went defunct.
It has different track listing than the commercial release including multiple unreleased interludes & songs. However the songs "Lawtown" & "Criminal" are not present here.
Audio on side A abruptly ends as time runs out cutting into "Downlo Ho" and picks right back up mid song on the start of side B.

Side A has a generic Chemistry Records label with handwritten "Scientifik-LP" at the top. No label present on side B.

This cassette was passed on from DJ Shame's personal collection along with another Scientifik demo tape.
