Humperdinck was born at Siegburg in the Rhine Province; at the age of 67 he died in Neustrelitz, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

Such talent, all wrapped up in a splendid package. We were so amazed and as excited about Engelbert as the bobbysoxers were with Sinatra years before. Two totally different personalities however, Enge being a shy young man, unaware that with that face and build, he could have been on the big screen ~ and a singing voice like no other, and to hear him speak, was still another bonus.
