Punch is the debut album by Punch Brothers. It was released by Nonesuch Records on February 26, 2008. The centerpiece of the album is mandolinist Chris Thile's ambitious four movement suite, "The Blind Leaving the Blind. Thile says the piece was written in part to deal with his divorce of 2004. It was composed over the course of a year and a half using Finale composition software. About 30% of the composition involves some improvisation, "like a jazz lead sheet or a written out fiddle tune.

Phantom Punch (album). The first single, "Phantom Punch", was released in August 2006. Norwegian Radio P3 held a contest to decide who would direct the video. Kristoffer Borgli won the contest, and the video he directed was released October 25, 2006.

Sigrid includes two songs on Sucker Punch that directly address the music industry’s attempts to manipulate her. Alongside Don’t Kill My Vibe, which sets the album’s tone of synth-battalion sweetness, there is Business Dinners, its slightest and most appealing song. It's a faded tropical postcard decorated with geometric Memphis Group squiggles; SOPHIE kicking back and sipping a piña colada.
