Shout and Deliver is a song by The Reels, which was released as a single from their second album Quasimodo's Dream in March 1981. The single peaked at number 43 on the Australian charts. Consists of a six-line chorus sung a number of times over a heavy drumbeat and lazy keyboard pattern. Annoying insistent and very clever. from the album Quasimodo's Dream.

Perhaps this helps to explain the Reels, whose musical direction has been erratic, however brilliant. Based around Dave Mason (vocals) and Colin Polly Newman (keyboards/saxophone) with Paul Abrahams (bass), John Bliss (drums) and Craig Hooper (guitar), the band was the first to utilize backing tapes, organize a national tour by train and to do a show based solely on requests, gathered by the band before the show. The band began as a quirky post new wave outfit achieving notice with the single and album Quasimodos Dream which remains their outstanding song.

It was originally recorded by the Top Notes, but it became a chart hit as a single by the Isley Brothers in 1962. When the Isleys recorded "Twist and Shout", the brothers did not think the song would do well, as they had not had a hit in the three years since "Shout" established them. To their surprise, it became their first Top 40 hit on both the pop and R&B charts, and for a time established the group's reputation for producing fast-paced songs during their earlier career. In 1967, the song was also covered by the Mamas & the Papas in the style of a ballad on their album Deliver. In 1988, Salt-N-Pepa recorded a cover version on their album A Salt with a Deadly Pepa. It was released as a single in the UK and reached number four.
