A Day to Remember (often abbreviated ADTR) is an American rock band from Ocala, Florida, founded in the spring of 2003 by guitarist Tom Denney and drummer Bobby Scruggs. They are known for their unusual amalgamation of metalcore and pop punk. The band currently consists of vocalist Jeremy McKinnon, rhythm guitarist Neil Westfall, bassist Joshua Woodard, r Alex Shelnutt and lead guitarist Kevin Skaff.

Alright so to open this up, I was flabbergasted after listening to this album in its entirety. The uniqueness in every single song, the musicianship, there are many parts in this album that makes it the heaviest album, or maybe the heaviest band, to exist in the Post-Hardcore scene. It's intense, very fast, clean, and totally epic. And "epic" is a word in my vocabulary that I rarely use.

The album starts off with a low, guttural chant of da da dada’s, which is followed by a guitar riff following the same pattern. At the risk of breaking the fourth wall between me and you, I laughed my ass off the first time I heard it. I had to listen to it a second time, convinced a band just wouldn’t do that to themselves. I was gravely mistaken. While a sense of humor is essential to most pop-punk bands success, this is just one example of embarrassing decisions by the band to include memorable moments in songs.
