With their first single Dream Preacher released in 1992, The WitchDoktors established themselves with their vintage of 60s punk that looked up to The Kinks, The Stooges and The Chocolate Watch Band. One Louder Records eventually released The WitchDokotors first full-length Brain Machine in 1997, followed by the single Neck Tattoo a year later on Tribal Vibes Records.

Brain Drain is the eleventh studio album by the American punk rock band the Ramones, released on March 23, 1989. It is the last Ramones release to feature alist Dee Dee Ramone, the first to feature Marky Ramone since his initial firing from the band after 1983's Subterranean Jungle and the band's last studio album on Sire Records.
