The four seasons - winter, spring, summer, autumn - can vary significantly in characteristics, and can prompt changes in the world around them. Let's take an overview of these four separate periods. Attributes of the seasons may vary by location, but there are still broad definitions that cross most of the boundaries. In the spring, seeds take root and vegetation begins to grow. The weather is warmer, and often wetter.

Frankie Valli (born Francesco Stephen Castelluccio; May 3, 1934) is an American singer and actor, known as the frontman of The Four Seasons beginning in 1960. He is known for his unusually powerful tenor/head voice. Valli scored 29 Top 40 hits with The Four Seasons, one Top 40 hit under The Four Seasons alias The Wonder Who?, and nine Top 40 hits as a solo artist.

Composed around 1723, The Four Seasons is today one of the most beloved musical compositions. Originally written and performed by Vivaldi and the chamber orchestra he formed at a girls orphanage in Venice, these concerti were largely forgotten after the composer s death until their rediscovery in the 1920s and subsequent recording in the 50s. A set of sonnets, likely penned by Vivaldi himself, accompany the score and describe the natural settings that inspired the music  . I bought two performances of Vivaldi's Four Seasons - one by Anne Akiko Myers and the other by Janine Jansen. Both are recent releases. Ms. Meyers is the better of the two.
