One of the most cursed album Moloch. Many failures were accompanied by the album on the way to publication. This album was originally positioned as full-length 2009, and was planned for release on Blackmetal. com in September 2009. Then the release date was postponed to April-May 2010. But due to the label's financial problems this release was canceled.

Moloch is a one man band from Ukraine and they have existed since 2002. Let’s take it from the beginning. Der Schein des schwärzesten Schnees is the ninth album of Moloch that although it had been recorded since 2009, it finally was released in 2011 and it consists of eleven compositions of depressive black metal/ambient. The tracks are mainly slow to mid tempo.

Moloch is some kind of a legendary band now, ubiquitous in the DSBM/Dark Ambient circle. And for good reason, apart from releasing multitudes of albums, like the Agathocles of Black Metal, the band has truly made a mark. Primarily this is a Black Metal album, with its foundation in the Depressive Suicidal Black Metal theme. It needed to be clear, lest it be interpreted as a Dark Ambient one, which this one clearly is not.
