Aube (French pronunciation: ) is a French department in the Grand Est region of north-eastern France. As with sixty departments in France, this department is named after a river: the Aube. With 305,606 inhabitants (2012), Aube is 76th department in terms of population. The inhabitants of the department are known as Aubois or Auboises. The department was constituted as it is today by a decree of the National Assembly of 15 January 1790.

Aube biography Aube is a solo project formed by the Japanese electronic artist and sound sculptore Nakajima Akifumi. He is specialised in propulsive noisy (droney) electronics, using a lof of harsh distortion, freakout effects, artisanal, alchemical sounds taken from various sources. Aube has a huge catalogue but also collaborated with many notorious artists as Maurizio Bianchi and Maso Yamazaki of Masonna. This newly released album by Aube is jam packed full of alienating discomfort. Fortunately, I kind of like it. I've been a fan of other Japanese noise artists (Merzbow, Masonna, et. for some time now, and Aube is always an interesting listen.

SYNTH SISTERS debut album "aube" was released privately by the group on a limited CD in 2014. MAYUKo passed a copy to 17853 label boss, Shimuzu, and he was knocked sideways by their unique music - hence this vinyl issue was born. Underground go-to engineeer, KABAMIX, is on remastering duty - giving it a strong re-EQ for the album’s first vinyl issue. The project is dedicated to deceased noise artist Akifumi Nakajima . AUBE", who past away in 2013.
