Delirium - III "Viaggio Negli Arcipelaghi Del Tempo" flac album

Delirium III, also known as "Viaggio negli Arcipelaghi del Tempo" (Journey through the Archipelagos of Time), is their magnus opus, their masterpiece. I know many people say that only their debut album reached the masterpiece status. In my humble opinion they're wrong. Delirium 3 (Viaggio Negli Arcipelaghi Del Tempo ) was released in 1974 and is one of the most beautiful and elegant Italian Prog records. The record combines great songs with interesting instrumental passages, a mixture of Jazz and Folk reminding sometimes Jethro Tull, sometimes King Crimson, Focus and Gentle Giant.

Viaggio negli arcipelaghi del tempo. This song is by Delirium and appears on the album III (1974). La terra bruciava non del sole, rumore d'armi. L'acciaio su ferro, rostri d'argento, fuori dell'acqua. La terra odora ancora di sangue, scossa è la piana. Bagliori d'armi, luci di spade, riporre gli elmi. Third album follows in 1974, called Delirium III (Viaggio negli arcipelaghi del tempo) and judged by many as their most mature work. La battaglia degli eterni piani contains a dark-inspired atmosphere never heard in their previous releases, the flute has again a prominent role and the sax is only present in Viaggio . This is also the first album to feature electric guitar, as Mimmo Di Martino only played the acoustic in previous albums. The album, including brand new compositions except some small excerpts from Van Der Graaf Generator's Theme one and Dio del silenzio from Delirium III, was well played and a pleasant listen, mainly based on not particularly heavy sounds.
