To My Surprise was an American experimental rock band formed in 2002 in Des Moines, Iowa. They are referred to as a side project of Shawn Crahan, a member/founder of heavy metal band Slipknot. In 2003 they released their debut album To My Surprise, however after losing frontman Brandon Darner in 2004 they parted ways with their record label.

Rainbow Kitten Surprise is an alternative rock indie band, featuring lead vocalist Sam Melo, Darrick Bozzy Keller (guitar, backup vocals), Ethan Goodpaster (electric guitar), Jess Haney (drums), and Charlie Holt (bass). Members hail from Boone, North Carolina. The music of Rainbow Kitten Surprise, also known as RKS, is known for its harmonies, instrumentation and lyrics, and its sound has been influenced by artists Modest Mouse, Kings of Leon, Frank Ocean and Schoolboy Q.

Pretend Surprise is a band that puts on a fiery live show. The music is moody and sometimes danceable rock, filled with hard hitting drums and inordinate but caustic guitar playing.
