Race Horses were a Welsh band based in Cardiff, Wales and originally from Aberystwyth. Formed in 2005 as Radio Luxembourg, they changed their name in 2009 due to possible legal problems with the radio station of the same name. Initially the majority of their music was in Welsh, but their final album Furniture was entirely in English.

Pale Horses is the sixth studio album by American indie rock band mewithoutYou. The artwork was painted in 1978 by longtime collaborator Vasily Kafanov, who also painted the artwork for the band's previous five albums. Music by mewithoutYou, lyrics by Aaron Weiss.

Race Horses? Dark horses, more like. For all its shining choruses and bright, perky chords, this Welsh quintet's second album is a murky thing, digging into the human heart to find disappointment, frustration and boredom. The title track ends with them cheerfully chanting "we are furniture" over a neon keyboard melody: they sound celebratory, yet the song mourns the humdrum existence of a couple who have fallen out of love.
