The Chase is the fifth studio album by the Christian rapper Manafest. It was released on March 30, 2010 under BEC Recordings, in association with Uprok Records. The single "Avalanche" off the release has sold 50,000 copies as of September 1, 2011.

Chase is an American jazz rock band. They are best known for their hit single, "Get It On" (1971). The band Chase was created in 1970 by Bill Chase, Ted Piercefield, Alan Ware, and Jerry Van Blair, all veteran jazz trumpeters who were also adept at vocals and arranging. They were backed up by a rhythm section consisting of Phil Porter on keyboards, Angel South (born Lucian Gondron) on guitar, Dennis Johnson on bass, and Jay Burrid (born John Mitthauer) on percussion.

chase" is the second opening of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable and the sixth overall opening of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime. The song is performed and arranged by the group batta, consisting of Tomomori Mano, Asato Shinohara, Takeshi Hoshino, and Tatsu Hoshino, who wrote the lyrics. The single was released on July 27, 2016. An English version of "chase" was included as a bonus track on the band's 3rd album Prelude, released on October 17, 2018.

Chase was the debut album by jazz-rock fusion band Chase. Bill Chase was already a well-established lead trumpet player when he decided to form his own band. He recruited three other veteran trumpet players and vocalist Terry Richards, backed them with a rock rhythm section, and created a band which merged both jazz and rock styles. The album was recorded in Chicago in November and early December 1970 and released in April 1971. The album charted for a total of 26 weeks, peaking at Long out of print in the . the album was re-released in Japan on CD in 1997.

Chase's self-titled LP was as close to unabashed critical success as the group ever got, coming out just as Chicago and Blood, Sweat, & Tears were both at their respective peaks of popularity. There's not much here that sounds like either band - Chase had a leaner, livelier sound, with an especially frantic rhythm section.
