Ian Parry biography English vocalist, IAN PARRY is a familiar name to many in the world of hard rock and metal. He started his career with the band HAMMERHEAD in 1985. However, EMI Records shelved their debut album "Heart Made of Steel" and finally released their album 15 years later in 2000. In the meantime, Parry worked with the English bands MONO PACIFIC and AIRRACE, before joining the Dutch hard rock band VENGEANCE in 1990. In 1998, Parry started the highly successful side project - CONSORTIUM PROJECT - with 4 album releases so far. In 2006, Parry released his fourth solo studio album "Visions. This album, more so than his previous solo releases, saw him venturing into the progressive metal territory. Besides the major points to his career mentioned above, Parry has also been active with other bands, some of minor importance and with minor roles.
